Schenck ONE wins the Red Dot Design Award

Schenck ONE is the software solution for balancing and the heart of every Schenck balancing machine. Simple familiarization, secure operator guidance and location-independent access were important aspects in the redesign of the software. Since the software is continuously developed over the course of the machine life cycle and made available to customers automatically via a subscription model, the focus is on a future-oriented, scalable, and flexible system.

Not commonplace for machine builders - the balancing software Schenck ONE, developed in cooperation with HMI Project GmbH, received the internationally recognized Red Dot Award 2023.

Numerous criteria play a role in the evaluation, which are evaluated by an international jury during a process lasting several days. In the field of "Communication Design", the evaluation of the procedure focused on the idea (originality and creativity), the form (design quality and innovation) and the effect (comprehensibility and emotionality). Among the winners this year, Schenck ONE completely convinced the 24-member jury in terms of its design and creative performance.

The uniform and simple user interface and philosophy on the machine and in the cloud, results in a holistic user experience throughout the entire balancing process, regardless of location; important aspects that did not escape the jury: Whether for the central creation and management of rotor types (RotorManager), the highly accurate measurement and correction of unbalance (BalancingAssistant), the secure documentation of results (ReportCenter), the KPI-supported improvement of the balancing process (MachineCockpit) or the maintenance of the machine (MaintenanceAssistant) - Schenck ONE offers a multitude of options for intuitive support throughout the balancing process in the browser and on the machine.
